Brother’s latest in their line of quality products is the PT-P750W Wireless Label Maker. Brother is well known for making some of the finest products in home & office, this is no exception. Label making is now easier than ever, you can create, cut, and print anything you want with impressive ease.
Now I understand label makers aren’t normally big attention grabbers in the tech industry, but when we heard about some of the features offered by the PT-P750W we had to get our hands on one to see for ourselves. As far as label makers go, it’s absolutely one of the best on the market. It’s well worth a BestStuff recommendation, and here’s why.
No Wires, No Mess
The entire point of the PT-P750W is to help you organize, so the last thing you need is another wire running across the room. You can opt to power your wireless label maker by it’s included A/C charger or with 6 AA batteries.
As far as it’s wireless capability, the PT-P750W connects quickly and easily to your network with a built in 802.11 b, g, or n, interface (this means it will work on any wireless network). We were able to get it connected and printing from the computer in just under a minute. Another added benefit of wireless connectivity is that it allows you to share this label maker with multiple devices, whether it’s a phone, laptop, or tablet. Each unit also comes standard with a direct connection USB cable if you choose to use it.
Label Customization Software
Brother’s Label Editing software is where the PT-P750W starts to separate from competitors. It’s a WYSISWIG editor, meaning “what you see is what you get”. The interface (GUI) is intuitive and incredibly easy to use. It allows for multiple labels to be printed on a single strip, pre-cut to your length of choice. You’re also presented with a huge array of color options so you can color-coordinate as you see fit. If you aren’t looking to spend 10 minutes designing your own custom label you can opt to use the assortment of templates included for quick and professional labeling.
I have to note, my personal favorite feature of the software is the ability to print images. It’s just icing on the cake as far as customization, and really lets you get creative with your organization!
“Touch To Connect” – Easy Label Making From Your Android Or IOS Device
Probably the most convenient functionality offered is the ability to quickly print labels from your Android or IOS device. Once you download the “Brother iPrint&Label” app all you have to do it touch your device to the top of the label maker to pair and you’re good to go. We tested on both the Android and IOS operating systems and both worked flawlessly.
The app includes features like pre-made label templates, generic label printing, and even the option to print pictures you’ve taken on your phone. From initial setup it took all of 2 minutes before we were up and running, which really speaks well for it’s ease of use.
Impressively Easy To Use
Say goodbye to messing with network settings, complex driver installations, and anything else that gets in the way of getting your job done. Not to sound repetitive, but we were so impressed that we had to rehash how incredibly easy it was to get everything up and running. The almost fool-proof interface and set-up methods make sure that even those with little to no technical knowledge can operate this device to it’s full capacity with little to no research. This is an absolute welcome change, and dealing with overly complex printers and setting are a thing of the past.
From the initial setup, it took less than two minutes to print labels from a phone, laptop, and computer.
After a month of solid use we couldn’t find any real flaws or change we would make with the product. It’s always nice to review a product that exceeds expectation. Brother’s PT-P750W really impressed us with the available features and specifically with how easy it was to operate. Our office has never been more organized!
If you’re in the market for a label maker we absolutely recommend the Brother PT-P750W Wireless Label Maker as one of the best. You can find more detailed information or buy your own at Brother’s Website.
