Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire announced

The first generation of Pokémons came to us in 1996-1997 and now more than 15 years later, the franchise is still going strong with new generations of Pokémons in every single game. In October 2014, the sixth generation was released under the names Pokémon X and Y and now a few months later, Nintendo has announced the titles and release date of the next games in the Pokémon series.


Fans of the Pokémon games and franchise in general received some great news a few days ago when Nintendo announced the remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS, albeit with a new name. Under the names of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, players will experience yet another dramatic storyline filled with a new world to explore. Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS.
